Eartha Kitt - I Don't Care

please don't forget legendary Eartha "Cat-Woman" Kitt. RIP since 25. December 2008

i didnot know her at all - perhaps because she was banned by the american president after she critized the vietnam war at a dinner at the white house. she had then to leave the usa to europe. but i only knew sherly bassey of course by her great james bond title songs! but i think eartha was even better - she made great disco and musical numbers and has a absolutly unique and fantastic diva-like voice! love her forever from now! perhaps we became an "Eartha Kitt Revival" now.

it's a shame that many great artists and inventors gets favourite after there dead. just read the biography of vincent van gogh or the great chemic-inventor Charles Goodyear - yeah! he searched his whole life for a chemical process that would make the "kautschuk" / rubber durable. but at the end some evil industrial man stole and patented his ideas and made much money producing everything out of rubber - e.g. wheels and tents and boots and gloves...i'd like to see a movie with Charles Goodyear life. It would be a very sad movie of a man who beliefed in it's skills and intelect, living in poor circumstances with his wife, loosing his only child that died at tuberkulose but fighting for it's rubber-idea for creating a better world.
